Guidelines for Parents  


  • Kindly check the haircut, nails, and uniform of your ward in the morning and ensure his / her punctuality.
  • Please see that your ward carries text/exercise books according to the timetable for the day.
  • Student's Almanac must be brought to school every day.
  • Kindly ensure that your ward is prepared for the tests. Also, check his/her Report Card and teacher's remarks in his/her exercise book, notebooks, and Almanac and give valuable suggestions for improvement.
  • Encourage your ward to take a balanced interest in studies, co-curricular activities and sports.
  • Parents should monitor the progress of their wards regularly.
  • For the regular development of the child, the parents are encouraged to share relevant information including strengths and weaknesses of their ward with the school.
  • If your ward is absent from school, he/she must make up all the work he she has missed on his/her own.
  • All parents must ensure that their wards reach school according to school timings. Parents must arrange safe transport at their own cost and risk.
  • No student will be allowed to go home, during school hours, without permission.
  • Parents are requested to take their wards or give an authorization letter carrying a contact number to the person (other than the parent) to take their wards.
  • Parents are not permitted to visit their wards or teachers in classrooms.
  • The school does not accept any responsibility for pupils on the premises before and after regular school hours.
  • Parents are expected to behave decently with the school employees.
  • Remedial classes for the students will be arranged on request from parents.
  • Parents should ensure their ward's regular attendance in the remedial /extra class.
  • On the day of the exam/test, early departure after the exam will not be permitted.
  • Parents are equally responsible for the safety of their child during school Journeys.
  •  Parents must ensure that the mode of transport arranged by them is safe.
  •  Parents must play the role of vigilant observers.
  •  Parents must participate in Parent Teachers Meetings and discuss the safety aspects of their children.
  • Parents must ensure that the children acquire the right knowledge and skills for safe use of roads. They should teach their children the basic rules of the road to walk and cross the road, how to alight and board a bus etc.
  • Parents should not allow their minor children to drive.
  • Parents must also ensure that the right attitude for a law-abiding citizen is imparted to their children by the family.
  •  Children are very good observers and therefore, parents must set an example by meticulously observing even small traffic rules.

SPECIAL GUIDELINES FOR (CLASS LKG TO II):

  • All notebooks and stationery items should be deposited with the class teachers on the first day of the session.
  • The notebooks will be sent home regularly for review by parents, which should be positively returned on the next day duly signed by the Parent.
  • Maintenance (Paste & cover) of books and notebooks should be taken care of.
  • Most of the co-curricular activities are open to all the students.
  • Parents can clarify about the co-curricular activities with the class teacher.
  • No formal examination will be conducted for the students of classes LKG-II. However, there will be a continuous and comprehensive assessment of the growth and development of the child in various areas of learning set in the curriculum. Parents must facilitate the learning in the child by taking an interest and guiding the child in completing the home assignments given.
  • Parents must ensure the regularity of their wards to school for effective learning. To make continuous assessment a success, the child should avoid being absent for more than one week. In case of any emergency, prior information must be given to the school.
  • To make learning effective, full cooperation of parents is required. Therefore, parents must be in constant touch with teachers by regularly attending PTM.
  • Parents must ensure the arrival and departure of children on time. They should not be sent before school time.
  • Nutritious lunch should be provided & junk food should be avoided.
